How to Repair an Oldsmobile Cutlass Turn Point Switch

The turn point switch in an Oldsmobile is integrated with a multi-function switch that is responsible for operating your windshield wipers, prowl command, light dimmers and your turn indicate. When one component on this switch fails it is time to replace the whole unit. Replacing the unit of measurement volition not take very much time.

Removing the Plough Signal Switch

Step one

Open the hood for access to the battery. Disconnect the battery's positive and negative terminals.

Remove the steering wheel shroud assembly. This is the plastic wrapped around the steering cavalcade. The housing is held by Phillips head screws.

Step 3

Twist the plough signal lever forward and pull it out. Put information technology in a rubber place for afterward installation.
